Kaizen Summer Sales Intern

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in Territory Sales Management: Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies to expand our customer base within your assigned territory.
  • Conduct Service Demonstrations: Expertly showcase product/service features and benefits, effectively upselling solutions that precisely meet client needs and solve their challenges.
  • Support Lead Generation Efforts: Utilize CRM software to efficiently track prospects, manage follow-up activities, and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate on Business Development: Work closely with management on initiatives to identify new market opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Act as a primary point of contact, addressing client inquiries promptly, professionally, and effectively to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Participate in a Competitive Environment: Thrive in a sports-like atmosphere, competing against yourself and teammates to achieve and exceed sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Academic Background: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, or related program with a strong interest in sales, marketing, or management.
  • Sales Enthusiasm: Demonstrated enthusiasm for outside sales, B2B transactions, and a keen understanding of sales cycles.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build strong rapport with diverse clients.
  • CRM Software Familiarity: Experience or familiarity with CRM software for tracking prospects and managing sales activities.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret conversations, analyze client needs, and determine the most effective path forward in sales interactions.
  • Organizational Skills: Capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Prior Experience (Plus): Prior experience in retail sales, cold calling, or account management is a plus, but not required.
