This is an internship at L’Oréal, located in Florence, KY. • Team: Operations team within the Consumer Products Division, reporting to the Director – Manufacturing Flows.
• Mission: Provide real-world experience and develop practical skills within a manufacturing environment.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Excel Macros, VBA, business intelligence, 5S/Lean
What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Execution: Develop and implement specific projects over the course of the internship, based on assignments within the manufacturing site.
• Skill Development: Apply and enhance hands-on skills by utilizing the latest available technology and tools.
• Idea Realization: Translate creative concepts and ideas into practical, actionable applications within the operational environment.
• Knowledge Acquisition: Obtain valuable knowledge and skills pertinent to both the technical and managerial aspects of a manufacturing site.
• Project Management: Take responsibility for managing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring progress through various stages and fulfilling diverse requirements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a business-related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership in field of study or extracurricular activities.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong written and oral communication skills; ability to work independently or as a part of a team; knowledge in business intelligence, programming, Excel Macros and VBA; working knowledge of 5S/Lean principles.
• Bonus: Previous internship or co-op experience, particularly in a Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment.
