Junior Territory Sales Executive | Red Hat

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Participation: Complete the comprehensive 12-month FASTER Program, gaining advanced sales strategies, partner ecosystem expertise, and territory management skills.
• Solution Understanding: Learn Red Hat’s portfolio and how it helps customers address strategic business challenges to drive commercial success.
• Sales Development: Develop the sales expertise necessary to sell Red Hat’s portfolio, focusing on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), through training and sales credentials.
• Customer Acquisition: Apply sales strategies in collaboration with partners to engage in demand generation and acquire new customers.
• Opportunity Progression: Shadow and work alongside experienced sellers to drive opportunities through planning, forecasting, and deal progression.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Foundational business or sales skills gained through university programs (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Communications), internships, retail sales, or relevant work experience.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to apply analytical, organizational, and goal-setting skills in a professional or academic environment.
• Skills: Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams and partners.
• Bonus: General familiarity with open source or cloud computing concepts; prior exposure to Red Hat products (RHEL, Ansible) or basic familiarity with data/CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
