About the Job: Junior Technician

Evergreen Fire and Security (EFS) is seeking a motivated Junior Technician to join their team at Dugway Proving Ground in Utah. This role is ideal for an individual eager to grow in the low-voltage industry, working under the supervision of a Site Lead to gain hands-on experience with various life safety and security systems.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about building a career in the low-voltage industry. The Junior Technician will train on the installation, testing, and maintenance of various critical protection systems, working directly under the guidance of the Site Lead.

The Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, repair, and testing of diverse systems utilized by Evergreen.
  • Serve as a primary onsite representative for Evergreen, providing exceptional customer service and product training.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance with all relevant State and Federal regulations.
  • Perform necessary administrative duties.

The Necessities (Required Qualifications)

  • Basic electrical wiring experience.
  • Basic computer skills (proficiency with Microsoft Office).
  • Good communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Must successfully pass pre-employment and ongoing random background checks, drug screenings, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screenings.
  • Ability to obtain a government clearance.

Great to Have (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Low-Voltage training.
  • Existing government clearance.
  • Previous experience working on government contracts or military bases.
  • OSHA 30 certificate.
  • Trainee Card.

Compensation

The hourly rate for well-qualified candidates is $21 – $25/hr.
