Job Description

Junior Software Assurance Cyber Analyst

OASYS, INC. is seeking a Junior Software Assurance Cyber Analyst to support an Army customer in Huntsville, Alabama. This role focuses on ensuring the technical correctness of software in missile defense systems through detailed analysis and defect management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform static analysis, defect analysis, and other measures to ensure the technical correctness of software in missile defense systems.
  • Explain identified software defects and recommend fixes to both technical and managerial audiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Programming Languages: Knowledge of C, C++, Java, and/or C#.
  • Experience: 0 – 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (STEM, computer science, or computer engineering, etc.) is preferred.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired, and preference will be given to candidates who already possess one.

Preferred Skills:

  • Embedded software development experience.
  • Experience with software quality assurance (SQA).
  • Experience with cryptography, quantum-resistant cryptography, or module proofs.
  • Ada programming language experience.
  • Experience building software assurance and continuous integration (CI) pipelines.
  • Experience with static application security testing (SAST) tools such as Fortify, Coverity, Checkmarx, and other scanning software.
  • CISSP or another IAT Level III 8570 Certification.
  • Security+ Certification.
