Job Title: Junior Servicing Specialist
Overall Responsibility
Under the supervision of the Loan Servicing Manager, the Junior Servicing Specialist performs a variety of crucial Loan Servicing functions for Commercial, Real Estate, and consumer loans. This includes processing the final closing and distribution of paid loans, preparing accurate payoff demand statements, and meticulously maintaining, tracking, and reviewing all pending loan documents and exceptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Input and verify loan data on all loans to ensure accuracy.
- Input and verify comprehensive escrow information, including but not limited to PMI, various types of insurance (hazard, flood, Master (Condo/Association)), and taxes (county, city, mud, school, etc.).
- Verify escrow payment information by running a trail escrow analysis.
- Verify flood certificate information to ensure compliance.
- Input and verify Legal Descriptions for all loans.
- Perform checks on adjustable-rate mortgage (ARMS) and other structured loan types.
- Generate and upload loan documents efficiently into the system.
- Perform research and diligently follow-up on outstanding problems to ensure resolution.
- Cross-train in all loan boarding tasks to enhance versatility and team support.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Possess sound judgment, strong problem-solving, and effective decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated advanced communication skills, both oral and written.
- Possess strong personal computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
