Junior Scheduler | STV

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at STV, located in Nashville, TN or Atlanta, GA. STV seeks to enhance its Project Controls team with an early-career professional. This position is vital for supporting crucial project scheduling, coordination, and document control functions, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently within the AEC or construction environment. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the team’s ability to maintain organized project records and timely schedule updates.

• Mission: This person supports scheduling, document control, and project administration to ensure project information is organized, current, and effectively communicated across teams.
• Tech Stack: Primavera P6, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Schedule Management: Assist with the development, maintenance, and updating of project schedules under senior guidance, including progress tracking and basic reporting.
• Document Control: Support day-to-day document control activities such as logging, tracking, filing, and distributing project documents.
• Project Administration: Maintain organized electronic filing systems according to project and company standards, and assist with project controls reporting and administrative tasks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Interface professionally with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other internal and external project stakeholders.
• Reporting & Coordination: Prepare basic written communications, logs, and reports with attention to detail and clarity, while supporting coordination across disciplines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, or a related field (or equivalent experience) at an early-career level.
• Experience: Some exposure to project scheduling concepts and tools; plus internship or entry-level experience in project controls, scheduling, construction management, or engineering support.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Bonus: Primavera P6 familiarity, a basic understanding of CPM scheduling concepts, and experience or interest in document control or project administration in an AEC or construction environment.
