Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) | Pivot
The Tone:
This is a full-time, remote role at Pivot. Pivot offers a unique, personalized 6-week mentorship program designed to help individuals successfully transition into high-demand tech sales roles like SDR and BDR. The program is led by a founder with personal experience in a successful career change to tech sales. This role is pivotal for identifying and engaging potential mentees, directly contributing to Pivot’s mission of empowering career transformations in the tech sales industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prospecting: Research and identify new leads and potential clients who could benefit from Pivot’s mentorship program.
• Outreach: Engage in strategic and personalized outreach efforts across various channels to connect with qualified prospects.
• Qualification: Conduct initial qualification conversations to assess prospect needs, interest, and fit for the program.
• Development: Nurture relationships to develop viable business opportunities and schedule discovery calls for the sales team.
• Performance: Consistently meet and exceed established quotas and performance benchmarks, demonstrating a commitment to results.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of sales and business development principles. A Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is preferred, though demonstrated aptitude is highly valued.
• Experience: Proven ability in inside sales and lead generation to effectively identify, engage, and qualify prospects, understanding the nuances of the sales funnel.
• Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, including clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication. A strong drive to achieve and surpass targets, coupled with excellent organizational and time management skills. A genuine interest in the SaaS industry and technology sales, with a clear desire for continuous professional development.
• Bonus: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data management practices.
