Junior Full Stack .NET Web Developer | Precise Systems

This is an early career opportunity at Precise Systems, a solutions-based company focused on innovation in support of warfighters. Precise Systems provides expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization, and sustainment programs. They deliver solutions in Digital Transformation, Advanced Engineering, Physical Sciences Research, Platform Lifecycle Support, and Technical Services. This fully remote role is vital for expanding the team and supporting existing government business web applications, ensuring high-quality service and innovative solutions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop: Support existing government business web applications utilizing a Vue JS front end, C# .NET Core 7.0 Web APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server stored procedures.
• Maintain: Provide production support for older government business web applications built with C# .NET Framework 4.8 Web Forms, jQuery, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Utilize: Work with core development tools including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Enterprise Manager, and GIT for version control.
• Adhere: Follow agile scrum-like development processes throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate: Work both independently and as part of a team within an agile scrum-like development cycle, demonstrating self-motivation and attention to detail.
The Must-Haves
• Background: BA/BS degree required. An AS or AA degree with three (3) years of relevant experience, or five (5) years of relevant experience, may be substituted for a BS or BA degree. Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in project support.
• Skills: Highly desired technical skills include modern JavaScript framework experience, C# language experience, and SQL language experience. Highly desired professional skills include excellent communication, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team while multitasking.
• Bonus: Experience with software development utilizing C#, a modern JavaScript framework, and a SQL database is desired. An IT degree or a certificate of completion from a coding bootcamp program is also a plus, along with professional certifications like MCSD.
