Junior Graphic Designer – Nexus Agriscience

Nexus Agriscience, a pioneering company in molecular farming based in Livermore, California, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join its fast-moving creative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-visibility projects that will shape the global perception of natural ingredients, cannabis, and terpene brands.

Working directly under the Senior Designer, the Junior Graphic Designer will provide essential design support across a variety of marketing promotions, social content, email campaigns, and brand materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn and grow within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Senior Designer to create clean, compelling visual assets.
• Design and prepare creative materials for promotional campaigns, social media content, and email marketing initiatives.
• Provide design support for HubSpot email campaigns and landing pages, including headers, backgrounds, and images.
• Develop and maintain brand-aligned design assets for both print and digital platforms.
• Assist with presentation design, including creating decks and one-pagers.
• Ensure the delivery of production-ready files across all outputs.
• Stay informed about current design trends, cultural aesthetics, and UI/UX best practices to continuously enhance design quality.

Salary:

$73,000 – $78,000 USD per year

Required Skills:

• 1–3 years of professional design experience (internship or freelance work will be considered).
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital and print design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Familiarity with Figma and fundamental UI/UX principles.
• Experience with or a strong willingness to learn HubSpot design functionalities.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Desired Skills:

• Experience utilizing AI design tools.
• Knowledge of motion graphics or video editing software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere).
• Familiarity with cannabis, ingredients, or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands.
• Proficiency in presentation design using Google Slides or PowerPoint.
