We are seeking a Junior Field Applications Engineer to join NVIDIA, a leader in AI platforms. Role Overview

This Field Applications Engineering (FAE) position focuses on datacenter system and network design for AI computing. As a specialist in system design and networking, you will serve as a technical leader for our customers, primarily engaging in onsite technical support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI computing systems. You will work cross-functionally within NVIDIA while ensuring a positive experience for external customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
  • Solve complex hardware and deployment issues.
  • Act as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products, directly supporting sales account managers and collaborating closely to deliver outstanding AI datacenter solutions.
  • Actively establish strong technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects at key accounts.
  • Identify customer architectures and critical product requirements within the enterprise AI market.
  • Provide technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
  • Establish strong relationships and communication channels with internal NVIDIA teams.

What We Need To See

  • Education: BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 1+ years of work-related experience in the high-tech electronics industry in a system design role or technical customer support role.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data center hardware.
  • Adaptability: Capable of working effectively in a constantly evolving environment without losing focus.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Expert analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Organization: Strong time-management and organization skills for coordinating multiple initiatives, priorities, and implementations of new technology and products into very sophisticated projects.
  • Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to effectively collaborate with management and engineering.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Experience with large-scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
  • Networking Knowledge: Proficient in TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, Switches, etc.
  • Programming Skills: C/C++ and Python programming skills.
  • Embedded Systems: Experience with Embedded Linux System, APIs, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working with OEMs in the industrial, military, and ruggedized computing space.

Salary & Benefits

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

  • Base Salary Range (Level 1): $92,000 USD – $149,500 USD
  • Base Salary Range (Level 2): $108,000 USD – $178,250 USD

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
