What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribution: Participate in various initiatives, including a major internal platform migration project.
• Development: Build and implement software enhancements using Java and Python programming languages.
• Database Management: Work directly with SQL databases, including writing and executing queries.
• Cloud Solutions: Design and implement solutions leveraging AWS cloud services for various projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an early career position requiring a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field. Candidates should demonstrate a foundational understanding of software development principles, particularly within the financial services domain.
• Experience: Requires prior IT internship experience, with a major plus for experience in the financial industry. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Python and Java programming, direct exposure to SQL databases, including the ability to write queries from scratch, and practical experience with AWS cloud services. Agile experience is also necessary.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Java and Python programming; ability to write SQL database queries from scratch; practical application of AWS cloud services; understanding and application of Agile methodologies.
• Bonus: Previous IT internship experience specifically within the financial industry, familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, and a genuine enthusiasm to deepen knowledge of the insurance and financial services sector.
