Junior Collision Estimator / Body Shop Helper | Bell Ford

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Bell Ford Collision Center, located in Phoenix, AZ. Bell Ford Collision Center is a growing collision repair facility. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic automotive repair knowledge or estimating experience who wants to grow within a supportive environment. The role is crucial for combining estimating and parts coordination responsibilities, providing a strong foundation for advancement and helping ensure a smooth repair process from start to finish.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, occasional Saturdays as needed
• Location: In-person, Phoenix, AZ

• Mission: To assess vehicle damage, prepare repair estimates, coordinate parts orders, and help ensure a smooth repair process from start to finish.
• Tech Stack: CCC ONE, Reynolds & Reynolds

What You’ll Actually Do
• Estimate: Write complete estimates and supplements in accordance with company and insurance guidelines, with an emphasis on repair versus replace.
• Coordinate: Review repair estimates, verify parts availability, receive, inspect, and distribute parts to technicians, tracking backorders and communicating delays.
• Communicate: Educate customers on the collision repair process, insurance claims, and repair timelines, and deliver completed vehicles, reviewing repairs with customers.
• Manage Workflow: Document and track vehicle progress, update production schedules, assign labor to technicians and painters, and conduct daily meetings for accurate status updates.
• Assure Quality: Perform quality control checks prior to vehicle delivery, finalize and line-match supplements, and prepare files for final billing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent required, with automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Experience: Entry-level opportunity.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities, team-oriented mindset, and basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Bonus: 1+ year of collision repair or body shop experience, familiarity with insurance claims processes, bilingual (English/Spanish), and experience with CCC ONE and/or Reynolds & Reynolds.
