Our client is actively seeking a charismatic and highly motivated Junior Attorney to become a vital part of their expanding estate planning practice in Clifton, NJ. This unique full-time role is perfectly suited for an attorney who thrives on public speaking, enjoys dynamic client interaction, and excels at building lasting professional relationships. A significant aspect of this position involves presenting at engaging estate planning workshops and conducting initial consultations with prospective clients to discuss their fundamental estate planning needs and goals.

Prior experience in estate planning is not a prerequisite for this role, as the firm is committed to providing comprehensive training and dedicated support to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workshop Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations at the firm’s estate planning workshops and seminars, effectively educating attendees on the critical importance and various aspects of comprehensive estate planning.
  • Client Consultations: Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients, actively listening to their concerns and discussing their basic estate planning needs, objectives, and potential solutions.
  • Client Relationship Building: Proactively build strong rapport and trusted relationships with individuals and families seeking expert estate planning services, acting as their initial point of contact and guide.
  • Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with senior attorneys and support staff, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition of new clients into the firm’s detailed estate planning process.
  • Practice Growth: Play a pivotal role in supporting the firm’s strategic efforts to grow its estate planning practice by actively engaging with potential clients, identifying needs, and contributing to the generation of new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD): Must possess a JD from an accredited law school.
  • New Jersey Bar Admission: Currently licensed or eligible to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
  • Public Speaking Skills: Demonstrated strong public speaking and presentation abilities, with a comfort level addressing diverse groups.
  • Client Development Interest: A genuine interest in sales, client development, and the art of relationship building.
  • Interpersonal Skills: An outgoing, personable demeanor, comfortable and effective when speaking in front of groups.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule

This is an in-office position requiring full-time attendance, 5 days per week, at our Clifton, NJ location.
