Junior Analytics Developer | CACI International

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at CACI International, located in Washington, DC (hybrid). CACI specializes in building and supporting financial management systems for the US government, contributing directly to the nation’s defense. This position offers a junior software engineer the opportunity to expand their expertise in analytics systems and deliver critical capabilities as part of a large program team. You will immediately contribute to supporting our nation’s missions in a high-visibility environment.

• Pay: $61100–$122200 yearly
• Team: Agile Scrum Team within a large program team
• Mission: This person will learn and apply analytics expertise to build and support US government financial management systems.
• Tech Stack: Qlik Sense, SQL, RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Analytics: Participate in the planning, design, development, and support of Qlik Sense Analytics applications as a member of an Agile team.
• Integrate Data: Support data integration and transformation processes utilizing Qlik load scripts, SQL, and ETL logic.
• Build Solutions: Design, develop, unit test, debug, document, and maintain program code for analytics capabilities.
• Ensure Quality: Test and validate dashboard functionality and data integrity throughout development cycles.
• Communicate Progress: Clearly articulate ideas and communicate verbally and in writing task status, unit test results, technical concepts, issues, and questions within the team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; this is an early career role.
• Experience: Relevant academic or work experience with SQL and relational data.
• Skills: SQL, data integration, ETL logic, ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Secret Security Clearance, US citizenship.
• Bonus: Experience with web visualization or analytical tools, RESTful or GraphQL APIs, DevOps platforms (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab, Atlassian Suite, Digital.ai), or Security+ CE certification.
