About the Junior Accountant Role with Robert Half FTEP
Robert Half is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) practice. What You’ll Do:
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare basic journal entries and assist with account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with financial reporting, variance analysis, and documentation.
- Collaborate with A/P, A/R, Payroll, and Finance teams to support daily accounting operations.
- Assist with audits, compliance requests, and supporting schedules.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and ERP system implementations.
- Contribute to project-based assignments with Protiviti, Robert Half’s global consulting subsidiary, supporting client accounting and finance initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting or related experience (internships or contract roles are welcomed).
- Basic understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Experience or exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics Business Central, Navision, Oracle, M3, SAP) and strong Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail, a genuine willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
