Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute thorough reconciliations of bank statements and various account balances, proactively identifying and resolving any discrepancies to uphold financial integrity.
- Efficiently process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments to vendors and prompt collection of outstanding receivables while maintaining precise records.
- Provide dedicated support for critical month-end and year-end closing activities, contributing to the timely and accurate completion of financial statements and reports.
- Generate fundamental financial reports and statements, and actively assist in audit preparations by compiling necessary documentation and responding to inquiries as required.
- Ensure rigorous maintenance of comprehensive documentation for all accounting transactions, strictly adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with team members to effectively identify, analyze, and resolve accounting discrepancies, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance process efficiencies.
- Provide essential support for payroll administration tasks, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely processing of employee compensation as needed.
Qualifications:
- A completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related quantitative field is essential.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and practical experience with widely used accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Workday, or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Possess impeccable attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills, crucial for managing complex financial data and maintaining accurate records.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction with colleagues and stakeholders across all levels.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, work autonomously, and consistently meet demanding deadlines within a dynamic, fast-paced professional setting.
- Prior internship or practical experience in an accounting or finance role is highly preferred, offering a valuable head start, but not strictly required for motivated candidates.
