Jr. Supply Chain Associate – 6 Months | L’Oréal

This is a 6-month internship role at L’Oréal, operating under a hybrid work model. This role is crucial for optimizing service levels and managing inventory, directly contributing to the efficient flow of products and satisfying consumer demand within L’Oréal’s luxury portfolio.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Forecast Management: Manage the development, review, and implementation of accurate forecasts to drive continuous improvement of demand planning and inventory management processes and systems.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance against the forecast throughout the month, identifying any key shifts or trends.
• Inventory Analysis: Analyze forecast variation and deviation with the goal of minimizing out-of-stocks and preventing the build of excess and obsolete inventory.
• Partner Interaction: Interact with supply planning partners to identify forecast deviation and/or supply chain constraints.
• Reporting: Perform monthly reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and execute ad hoc reporting as required.
• Project Participation: Lead or participate in special projects related to supply chain initiatives as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Business discipline.
• Experience: 0-1 year of supply chain experience, specifically a 6-month internship.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret data; robust Microsoft Office proficiency, especially in Excel and PowerPoint; strong problem-solving capabilities to troubleshoot issues; effective communication skills for teamwork; excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
