Jr. Manager | FirstService Residential

The Tone:

This position is vital for providing direct support to management and ensuring exceptional customer service for all owners, residents, clients, and vendors. The Jr. Manager plays a key role in maintaining efficient daily operations and meticulous record-keeping within the community association framework.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to all clients and vendors, responding to inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Financial Support: Assist with the daily general financial management and accurate recordkeeping for the association.
• Record Management: Maintain all essential records in Connect, including work orders, resident information, and association documents.
• Meeting Preparation: Support the Community Manager by preparing Board meeting agendas, monthly management reports, and other necessary materials.
• Operational Coordination: Assist in establishing an annual calendar for association activities, deadlines, elections, meetings, and projects.

The Must-Haves
• Background: College degree or equivalent work experience in a business support capacity focused on community association operations.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, and knowledge of basic accounting/budgeting procedures.
• Bonus: Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, coordinate work effectively, and maintain a positive attitude in potentially stressful situations.
