• Mission: Improve incident response, change management, and operational efficiency through accurate and comprehensive ServiceNow service maps for business-critical applications.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Identify: Identify all infrastructure and application-level dependencies, including servers, switches, databases, and APIs, for the top ten business-critical applications.
• Document: Document identified infrastructure and application-level dependencies required to support each critical application.
• Map: Translate the documented information into formal service maps within ServiceNow.
• Collaborate: Collaborate with IT teams and product owners to capture technical and business requirements and validate dependencies.
• Create: Create visual flow diagrams using Visio to support clear documentation and understanding of each service.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Understanding of IT infrastructure, including software deployment and management, is beneficial.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies; ability to interpret and work with process diagrams, role matrices, and group schemas.
• Bonus: Understanding of Active Directory, user roles, group-based access controls, and comfort with role-based access control (RBAC) concepts; previous experience in system administration.
