Technical Service Team Leader | DP World

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at DP World, located in Egypt – Suez. DP World is a leading global port operator, managing marine and inland terminals, as well as providing related services. This role is critical in ensuring the continuous and secure operation of essential low current systems and mobile terminal devices, directly supporting the efficiency and safety of port operations.

• Mission: Ensure continuous, secure, and efficient operation of IT systems and devices critical for port operations by leading technical service efforts.
• Tech Stack: CCTV, Access Control, Handheld Terminals (HHT), Vehicle-Mounted Terminals (VMT), Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, Service Desk systems, ITIL concepts.

What You’ll Actually Do
• System Management: Install, configure, and maintain essential low current systems including CCTV and Access Control, ensuring continuous operation with minimal downtime.
• Terminal Device Operations: Prepare, configure, and troubleshoot Handheld and Vehicle-Mounted Terminals, ensuring all devices are updated, secure, and fully operational before deployment.
• IT Service & Compliance: Handle IT service requests and incidents, track outsourced IT tasks, and ensure all installations and activities comply with safety and corporate IT policies.
• Mobile Device & Asset Control: Configure and manage mobile devices using approved MDM platforms, oversee the creation of purchase requests for IT materials, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Service Level Monitoring: Monitor, track, and report on Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance, identifying areas for improvement and preparing recommendations for service enhancements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. This is a senior-level position focused on ensuring the reliability and compliance of low current systems and critical IT infrastructure within a port operations environment.
• Experience: 6-8 years of experience in the same job field, including hands-on experience managing devices like VMTs, tablets, and HHTs, and working with TOS and port operation applications.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and other low-current systems; strong understanding of computer network infrastructure; familiarity with MDM solutions; good understanding of ITIL concepts and processes; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent English language skills.
• Bonus: Any additional certifications in Networking, Low-Current Systems, or Information Technology.
