This practical role is essential for contributing to a structured understanding of the ISAM landscape and providing critical intelligence to founders, operators, and other stakeholders.

• Mission: Map and track the rapidly evolving In-Space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (ISAM) sector to provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
• Tech Stack: Notion/Airtable, spreadsheets, documents

What You’ll Actually Do
• Landscape Mapping: Identify and categorize key players, capabilities, facilities, missions, and timelines within the ISAM sector.
• Market Tracking: Monitor and report on funding rounds, contract awards, strategic partnerships, and technology milestones across the industry.
• Output Creation: Produce concise research materials, such as 1-page briefs, comparative tables, weekly snapshots, and “what changed” updates for quick stakeholder consumption.
• Record Maintenance: Keep comprehensive records of companies, programmes, Technology Readiness Levels (TRL), procurement routes, geographical presence, and investor activities.
• Outreach Support: Prepare background notes and well-researched target lists to facilitate targeted outreach efforts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a genuine interest in the space industry and In-Space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing (ISAM).
• Experience: Exceptional ability to find and synthesize information with keen attention to detail; proficiency in writing bullets, tables, and brief summaries.
• Skills: Strong online research, data synthesis, concise communication, autonomous work, critical judgment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with ESA/NASA/UKSA programmes, prime contractors, supply chains, or the venture capital landscape in space; comfort using tools like Notion/Airtable, spreadsheets, and performing light data cleaning.
