This role is critical as it leads the research and development of investment content for Weiss Ratings’ publications, shaping the company’s reputation as a trusted source.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality investment research and analysis for articles, reports, and newsletters, meeting editorial and business standards.
• Investment Strategy & Research: Lead the development of investment strategies and conduct in-depth research on asset classes, market trends, and economic conditions.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of analysts, researchers, and financial writers, fostering excellence and ensuring timely content delivery.
• Market Analysis & Reporting: Monitor global financial markets and economic indicators to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and prepare detailed reports and presentations.
• Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all published financial information.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Journalism, or a related field, with leadership experience in investment management, financial research, or financial journalism.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment management, financial research, or financial journalism.
• Skills: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, deep understanding of financial markets and investment strategies, strong writing and communication skills, proven leadership and team management capabilities, and proficiency in financial software, data analysis tools, and content management systems.
• Bonus: MBA or CFA designation is highly preferred.
