Job Description

This summer associate position is within DCF’s middle-market investment banking practice, targeting ambitious individuals seeking an entrepreneurial work environment to accelerate their professional development.

What you’ll do:

• Work on live transactions and pitch assignments across multiple industries.
• Gain experience through hands-on involvement in deal teams.
• Provide analytical input and work directly with client executives.
• Advise clients on strategic mergers and acquisitions and capital raising.
• Develop process tactics, frame perspectives on buyers and investors.
• Build financial models and craft presentation materials.
• Contribute to strategic client positioning through industry research.
• Lead and oversee junior bankers’ modeling and analytical work.
• Assess growth strategies, capital structure decisions, and transaction alternatives.
• Lead discussions with clients and interact with private equity and strategic buyers.
• Develop leadership skills, process management, and technical capabilities.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Enrollment in an MBA degree program.
• Strong academic track record (cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above).
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• At least 18 years of age at the time of employment.
• Ability to travel up to 50% on average.

Preferred:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above.
• Relevant work experience (internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Demonstrated leadership in campus clubs, societies, sports teams, or other activities.
• Demonstrated social impact or volunteer activity.
• Previous investment banking or M&A execution experience.
• Experience with financial modeling and analysis.

Work Environment:
