Investment Banking Associate – Technology Banking | Societe Generale

This role is crucial for supporting the technology investment banking team in executing financial transactions and advising clients on strategic initiatives, playing a key part in client success and strategic direction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis to support transaction decisions.
• Client Presentations: Prepare pitch books and presentations for client meetings, articulating complex financial concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
• Market Research: Perform industry and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
• Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process, coordinating with various stakeholders to gather necessary information across multiple product types.
• Transaction Execution: Support the execution of transactions by preparing documentation and liaising with legal and compliance teams.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree from a top-tier university, preferably in Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience: Previous work experience in investment banking, finance, or a related field. SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 certifications must be completed within five months of hire.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and Excel, excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Bonus: Previous work experience in investment banking, finance, or a related field is preferred.
