What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Relationships: Develop and manage strategic client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for key accounts.
• Financial Analysis: Perform advanced financial modeling and comprehensive valuation analysis to support transactional decisions.
• Transaction Execution: Take an active and leading role in the development, structuring, and execution of complex investment banking transactions.
• Due Diligence & Deliverables: Conduct thorough client due diligence and prepare high-quality client presentations and deliverables.
• Team Leadership: Manage and actively develop junior talent within the investment banking group, fostering their professional growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a strong foundation in investment banking, evidenced by either a Bachelor’s degree combined with a minimum of six years of experience in an investment banking analyst or associate position, or an MBA or equivalent graduate degree in a financial discipline. Candidates must possess current or recent experience specifically within an investment banking role or an equivalent position that demonstrates relevant expertise. A critical requirement includes current or recent experience within the healthcare industry, highlighting sector-specific knowledge and engagement.
• Experience: A minimum of six years of dedicated experience in investment banking analyst or associate roles is essential for candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree. This role demands a strong analytical orientation, with proven experience performing complex financial and valuation analysis, particularly utilizing spreadsheet tools such as Excel. Furthermore, candidates must demonstrate a consistent commitment to and experience with collaborative teamwork environments, effectively contributing to collective goals.
• Skills: Proficiency in advanced financial modeling, comprehensive valuation analysis, and effective client relationship management is paramount. The role requires strong capabilities in transaction structuring, efficient deal execution, thorough client due diligence, and the preparation of high-quality client presentations and deliverables. Additionally, the ability to manage and develop junior talent within the group is a key skill.
• Bonus: Preferred candidates will possess Series 63 and Series 79 certifications, indicating a strong understanding of securities regulations. An outstanding academic record is highly valued, as are exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for clear articulation with clients and internal teams. A demonstrated interest in finance and financial markets, alongside a keen interest in the healthcare or medical field through professional and/or academic experience, will be a significant advantage.
