• Mission: To originate, execute, and advise on investment banking transactions (M&A, IPO, Leveraged Finance) within the Healthcare sector, developing client relationships and providing analytical and execution support.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Advisory: Serve as a primary contact for developing and participating in client presentations to advise on various investment banking transactions, including cross-border M&A and IPOs.
• Relationship Development: Cultivate and strengthen client relationships within specific healthcare industry verticals such as Medical Technology, Pharma Services, and Biopharma.
• Strategic Evaluation: Analyze strategic alternatives for clients and provide informed recommendations, both internally and directly to clients.
• Financial Modeling: Prepare and thoroughly review complex financial models, including detailed valuation and merger consequences analyses.
• Deal Execution Management: Provide essential deal execution support through quantitative and qualitative analyses, managing due diligence processes, and coordinating all involved parties.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher from a competitive program, demonstrating composure and emotional maturity to interact directly with senior Managing Directors and lead client discussions.
• Experience: At least 3 years of on-site prior relevant financial services experience (or 1 year post-graduate for MBA/JD holders), with M&A experience being highly valued.
• Skills: Proficient in financial analysis methodologies such as DCF, LBO, comparable companies, and precedent transactions; expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; exceptional oral and written presentation skills.
• Bonus: Preference for an MBA or JD degree from a top tier program; completion of at least the CFA Level I examination or CPA designation; Series 79, 63, and SIE already obtained or to be obtained within 5 months of hire.
