Investment Banking Associate | Alexander Chapman

The Tone:
This is a role at Alexander Chapman, an investment bank with a strong reputation for advising growth software companies, founders, financial sponsors, and strategic acquirers on complex M&A and capital markets transactions. What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Execution: Execute M&A, private equity, and growth equity transactions from initiation through closing.
• Financial Analysis: Develop and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials.
• Project Leadership: Lead critical workstreams across live transaction processes.
• Client Advisory: Prepare client presentations, marketing materials, and strategic advisory analyses.
• Sector Research: Conduct industry, market, and company research within the software and broader technology sectors.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Investment banking experience with exposure to technology and software transactions, and a strong academic record.
• Experience: Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a demanding deal environment; entrepreneurial mindset with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Bonus: FINRA Series 63 and 79 registrations preferred.
