This organization is a leader in sell-side M&A within the Business Services sector, known for its extensive deal flow and high-caliber team. The firm is actively seeking to expand its Business Services team by adding an Associate who can immediately contribute to complex transactions. What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis & Research: Conduct thorough research and prepare detailed analyses on target companies, various industries, prevailing capital markets conditions, historical financial performance, and prospective financial data to provide actionable insights for M&A transactions.
• Financial Modeling: Design and build sophisticated financial models, perform comprehensive valuation analyses using various methodologies, and conduct debt and capital adequacy assessments essential for strategic decision-making and deal structuring.
• Transaction Support: Provide active and critical support throughout all stages of transaction due diligence, meticulously reviewing documentation and information, and contributing to the efficient execution of all related project tasks.
• Client Materials: Develop and refine high-impact marketing materials, compelling client presentations, and detailed pitch books specifically tailored for prospective clients, specific industries, and a range of advisory initiatives to attract new business and facilitate deal progression.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior analysts and interns, offering support, sharing knowledge, and fostering their professional growth, thereby contributing to the overall strength and development of the immediate team.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field. This position is designed for an experienced professional who has a solid academic and practical foundation in core investment banking principles and financial markets.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of dedicated investment banking experience is strictly required, with a proven track record specifically in sell-side M&A transactions. Candidates must demonstrate significant success and proficiency in executing both financial and operational due diligence processes.
• Skills: Exhibit strong expertise in financial modeling, detailed financial statement analysis, and a mastery of various valuation techniques. Crucial for this role are excellent written and verbal communication skills, combined with the proven ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects under pressure, consistently meet stringent deadlines, and operate efficiently within a team-oriented environment.
