What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Build comprehensive three-statement financial models, projections, discounted cash flow models, and M&A combination analyses.
• Financial Analysis & Valuation: Review public and confidential information, analyze company peers, and conduct comparable company, comparable transaction, regression, and discounted cash flow analyses.
• Presentation Development: Assist in crafting investment banking marketing materials, and board-level client presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Strategic Recommendations: Synthesize information from clients and colleagues to inform financial projections and proactively identify alternative ideas and solutions to meet client goals.
• Industry Research: Track (re)insurance industry trends and translate that information into insights that aid client recommendations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience. Proven experience in the financial services or (re)insurance sectors, ideally within corporate finance, financial planning, financial analysis, or accounting, is also required.
• Experience: Demonstrated financial modeling experience is essential, alongside prior experience with data analysis concepts, including reproducibility and version control.
• Skills: Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and good interpersonal, client management, and communication abilities.
• Bonus: Knowledge of accounting and finance concepts, particularly balance sheet concepts for financial institutions, is a plus for this role.
