The Tone:
This is a Perm (Contingency) role at Atlantic Group, located in Montgomery County, PA. Atlantic Group is hiring this Investment Banking Analyst for their client, a boutique investment banking environment. This position is essential for supporting various aspects of transaction execution, financial modeling, and client advisory services. The role offers robust exposure to active deals, direct interaction with leadership, and a clear path for career progression within both investment banking and private equity sectors.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Build detailed financial models, which include three-statement models and comprehensive transaction analyses to support deal evaluations.
• Valuation Analysis: Perform critical comparable company and precedent transaction analyses to accurately assess valuation for client engagements.
• Deal Execution: Support M&A transactions comprehensively, from initial analytical phases through to successful closing and subsequent post-deal support.
• Client Materials: Prepare professional presentations, detailed reports, and all other transaction-related materials required for client advisory.
• Research: Conduct thorough industry, market, and specific company research to provide foundational support for active engagements.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with senior bankers and broader deal teams to facilitate execution and coordinate processes efficiently.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field. A foundational understanding of M&A processes, financial modeling principles, and various valuation methodologies is required.
• Experience: Possess 1–2 years of professional experience in investment banking, transaction services, or a closely related financial field.
• Skills: Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with strong financial modeling capabilities. Exhibit strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a demanding work environment.
• Bonus: Must have strong personal and professional ties to the Greater Philadelphia area.
