• Mission: Serve as a strategic advisor to clients by formulating investment strategies, raising capital, and assisting with financial transactions.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Work with senior Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) officers and professionals, participating as a junior team member in client transactions, projects, or assignments.
• Analyze: Organize and analyze sophisticated financial data that will be used in client proposals and strategic plans.
• Prepare: Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials, and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals.
• Model: Build complex financial models for various valuation purposes.
• Research: Conduct economic and financial research, evaluating a company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in an investment banking or related financial role.
• Skills: Series 79 and 63 licenses, consistently clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment to meet deadlines.
