The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Cloud Capital. Cloud Capital is a global investment management firm founded to identify and capitalize on acquisitions of high-quality data centers across the globe. This role is crucial for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic investments, directly contributing to the firm’s goal of becoming a leading long-term owner and operator of data centers globally.

• Mission: Identify, evaluate, and manage high-quality data center investments to achieve long-term ownership and operation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investment Proposal Development: Prepare and evaluate comprehensive investment proposals, including documentation for Investment Committee review.
• Transaction Due Diligence: Lead and support due diligence processes and execution for new transactions, including financial modeling and workstream management.
• Market & Sector Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market and sector research, providing actionable insights and updates on key developments.
• Portfolio & Asset Management: Monitor existing investments, identify and implement new asset management initiatives, and support portfolio companies in executing their business plans post-investment.
• Industry Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain relationships within the industry, including with financial institutions, consultants, and peer investors.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative subject.
• Experience: 2-4 years of relevant sector experience in Private Equity or M&A Advisory from a leading investment bank, with a demonstrated track record of relevant deal flow execution.
• Skills: Advanced financial and operational modelling skills; strong quantitative/numerical skills; excellent written/presentation and oral communication skills.
• Bonus: Independent and entrepreneurial character with high commercial acumen and a ‘returns’ driven mindset; ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team.
