Investment Analyst | Robinson Park

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Robinson Park, located in Oklahoma City, OK. Robinson Park is seeking an analytically minded, high-performing Investment Analyst to join its Research & Analytics team. As a key contributor, this role directly supports the firm’s core acquisition, asset management, investor reporting, and capital markets functions. The Investment Analyst provides essential financial analysis, underwriting expertise, and market due diligence, playing a vital part in evaluating investment opportunities and optimizing the performance of the firm’s real estate portfolio.

What You’ll Actually Do
Underwrite Real Estate Investments: Analyze prospective real estate acquisitions, developments, and recapitalization opportunities by evaluating investment risks, return metrics, financing structures, and market assumptions. This includes reviewing leases, rent rolls, financial statements, loan documents, and other due diligence materials to assist in preparing investment committee memoranda and acquisition recommendations.
Develop & Maintain Financial Models: Build and maintain detailed financial models, utilizing Microsoft Excel and Argus Enterprise, to perform discounted cash flow (DCF), internal rate of return (IRR), sensitivity, and scenario analyses.
Monitor Asset Performance: Maintain detailed financial models and continuously monitor asset performance against underwriting and business plan objectives, analyzing operating results, leasing activity, capital expenditures, and market trends.
Support Financial Planning: Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and valuation processes, while also assisting with lender reporting, refinancing analyses, and capital planning initiatives to optimize the real estate portfolio.
Produce Investor Communications: Prepare comprehensive quarterly investor reports, valuation updates, and performance summaries, developing clear charts, graphs, financial exhibits, and concise summaries for various investor communications.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Analytically minded, high-performing professional. Core domain knowledge in financial analysis, underwriting, market due diligence, and portfolio performance reporting, specifically within real estate investments.
• Experience: Proven ability to conduct financial analysis for prospective real estate acquisitions, developments, and recapitalization opportunities. Experience in building and maintaining detailed financial models and evaluating investment risks.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for advanced financial modeling (DCF, IRR, sensitivity, scenario analyses) and Argus Enterprise. Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial statements, market data, and lease documents.
