What You’ll Actually Do
• Review Submissions: Meticulously review regional leasing and development submissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives and financial protocols.
• Prepare Statistics: Consolidate vital leasing statistics and key performance indicators (KPIs), structuring them for clear presentation to senior management and for required public disclosures.
• Analyze Investments: Perform detailed financial analyses of the firm’s investments, thoroughly evaluating their financial projections to forecast performance and inform strategic decisions.
• Identify Variances: Proactively identify and analyze any unusual or unexpected variances within financial reports, pinpointing discrepancies that require further investigation.
• Prepare Reports: Develop comprehensive reports detailing the operating environment and significant capital events, preparing these insights for review by senior management and the board of directors.
• Monitor Liquidity: Closely monitor near-term liquidity events for various investments and actively collaborate with regional FP&A teams to accurately anticipate and understand upcoming liquidity needs.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a related financial discipline is required. This role is ideally suited for an early-career professional building a strong foundational knowledge in finance and accounting within a demanding investment environment.
• Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of pertinent experience gained specifically within public accounting is essential. Candidates must demonstrate proven experience in effectively understanding and dissecting complex financial transactions.
• Skills: Core skills include comprehensive financial analysis, meticulous variance identification, accurate financial reporting, and efficient data consolidation for executive-level review. Collaboration with regional financial planning and analysis teams is also key.
• Bonus: A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred, indicating a strong commitment to accounting principles. Additionally, familiarity and experience with OneStream software will be considered a significant advantage.
