Investment Analyst | STACK Infrastructure
The Tone:
This is a hybrid role at STACK Infrastructure, located in Denver, CO. STACK Infrastructure provides essential digital infrastructure, building, owning, and operating highly efficient data centers to support the world’s most innovative companies. This Investment Analyst position is critical for supporting financial models and providing decision support for a high-growth, private equity-backed business. The role directly contributes to the financial health and strategic direction of the company by ensuring informed business decisions.

• Mission: Supports financial models for business case analysis, decision support, and maintains accurate monthly reporting and budget quality control.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Case Analysis: Support the Manager of Finance by developing financial models to calculate return on investment, multiple on invested capital, and internal rate of return for executive decision-making.
• Performance Reporting: Own monthly reporting and variance analysis for multiple projects, collaborating with various business partners to create accurate reports and narratives for executive leadership.
• Operational Expense Management: Support the maintenance of operational expense models and publish quarterly reports, working closely with operations and tax teams to ensure consistent forecasts in financial models.
• Budget Review: Engage in preconstruction budget reviews to ensure quality control of model inputs and support comparative reporting of budget estimates across projects with variance narratives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
• Experience: Financial experience is preferred, ideally in investment banking, private equity, or for a private equity-backed company.
• Skills: Financial modeling, business case experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, excellent verbal and written communication, strong organizational skills, independent judgment, ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multitask.
• Bonus: Prior experience in a data center environment.
