The Tone:
This is a full-time role for an Investment Analyst at Pinnacle Group, located in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The firm is a growing lower middle market private equity group focused on investing in founder-owned businesses across a variety of industries. Operating with a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture, the company partners closely with management teams to drive long-term value creation. This role is crucial for providing direct support to senior investment professionals, offering exposure across investment evaluation, transaction execution, portfolio company support, and value creation initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Conduct comprehensive industry, market, and competitive research to inform investment decisions.
• Modeling & Analysis: Build financial models and perform strategic analysis to evaluate investment opportunities and assess risks and returns.
• Transaction Execution: Support transaction execution processes, including due diligence, financing, and closing.
• Document Preparation: Prepare essential investment documents such as memorandums, presentations, Indications of Interest (IOIs), and Letters of Intent (LOIs).
• Portfolio Support: Monitor portfolio company performance, fulfill reporting requirements, and assist with operational and value creation initiatives, including the implementation of AI tools.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, serving as an early career investment professional.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, transaction advisory, accounting, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling, analytical, and research capabilities; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; excellent written and verbal communication skills; high level of initiative, intellectual curiosity, and attention to detail.
• Bonus: Northeast Florida ties preferred.
