Inventory Management Sr. Analyst | PepsiCo
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at PepsiCo, located in Hidalgo, Mexico. PepsiCo is a global leader in food and beverage, and this role is pivotal in optimizing its extensive supply chain across numerous products and locations. You will contribute to advanced inventory modeling and analytics, focusing on enhancing data quality, performing complex scenario modeling, and deriving actionable insights. This position is crucial for improving inventory performance, service levels, and driving cost efficiency, directly supporting smarter supply chain decisions within the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Optimize Inventory: Run inventory optimization models, evaluate results, and perform scenario and what-if analyses to provide recommendations on inventory parameters and policies.
• Manage Data Quality: Maintain and update inventory-related master data, investigate and resolve data discrepancies, and support mass data updates and ongoing quality reviews.
• Generate Insights: Monitor key inventory metrics and dashboards, prepare and deliver weekly inventory performance insights, and analyze demand or forecast changes to assess their inventory impact.
• Drive Collaboration: Collaborate with planning, supply chain, and technology teams to align data and assumptions, support improvements to inventory tools and reporting, and identify/address excess inventory or stockout risks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Logistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Planning, Inventory Management, or End-to-End Supply Chain roles, with hands-on experience using SAP IBP and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills and business acumen with the ability to model scenarios and translate insights into actions. Advanced MS Excel proficiency, including macros, data cleansing, and pivots. Working knowledge of SQL, and fluent English (oral and written).
• Bonus: Experience with Python and/or automation tools, knowledge of Inventory Optimization (IO) SAP modules, Portuguese proficiency, or an advanced degree (MBA or MS) in Supply Chain, Operations Research, or a related field.
