About the Job

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, identifying and resolving discrepancies, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our inventory operations. This position requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Major Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate and timely cycle counts and physical inventories of all warehouse goods to maintain optimal inventory levels and data integrity.
• Generate, analyze, and appropriately file all daily inventory control reports, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
• Proactively identify and analyze trends and processes that impact inventory control, communicating findings and providing actionable recommendations for process improvements to warehouse management.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to missing products in storage locations by meticulously reviewing inventory transaction history within the system.
• Thoroughly research and resolve all identified inventory discrepancies, escalating unresolved issues to warehouse management with detailed explanations.
• Provide support for diverse inventory-related projects, including sorting specific items, monitoring service levels, and managing deal breakdowns.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders to manage inventory flow and coordination between the warehouse and other departments.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Warehouse Management to support overall operational efficiency.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6:45 AM – 5:30 PM CST
