What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Skill Development: Gain foundational skills within either Housekeeping or Front Office, learning essentials such as villa cleaning, core guest accommodation tasks, and the various roles within the department, ensuring high guest satisfaction and adherence to brand standards.
• Guest Service and Interaction: Apply brand-standard welcoming techniques to deliver exceptional guest experiences, assisting guests and owners during check-in and check-out processes, and serving as a helpful resource for all requests and inquiries.
• Core Departmental Responsibilities: Learn to handle daily front desk tasks, participate in problem-solving scenarios, and understand the nuances between ownership and nightly reservations (Front Office); or observe and lead room inspections, manage inventory control, and learn supply ordering (Housekeeping).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Understand the critical importance of and actively practice collaboration with other departments to effectively prepare for guest arrivals, manage room assignments, and ensure seamless overall resort functionality.
• Strategic and Leadership Insights: Engage in exclusive interactive sessions with senior company executives to gain strategic insights, shadow different departments to broaden operational understanding, and conduct interviews with leaders to learn about diverse career journeys and leadership philosophies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a college degree at any level, with a preference for students majoring in Hospitality or Business Management.
• Experience: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fully on-site capacity for 3- or 6-month durations.
• Skills: Ability to reach overhead and below knee level, perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 10 pounds (25 pounds for Housekeeping) without assistance.
• Bonus: A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the specific scope of the role.
