Forte Capital Group is a wealth management firm specializing in Ultra High Net Worth and Institutional accounts. They partner with Innovation X Advisors, suggesting a collaborative relationship focused on investment strategies. Both firms appear to focus on private equity investments.

Job Description (Internship):

This internship offers a 3-month program (or equivalent course credit) assisting one of Forte Capital Group’s top-performing teams. The internship is split into two tracks: soft skills and data mining, with two positions available in each. Interns will gain practical experience in various aspects of wealth management and private equity, including:

• Client Onboarding: Assisting with the onboarding process for Ultra High Net Worth and Institutional clients.
• Prospect Management: Creating, managing, and updating a database of qualified prospects; engaging prospects through email and phone outreach.
• Private Equity Analysis: Reviewing new private equity offerings through an institutional private shares program; analyzing tear sheets and Private Placement Memorandums. This involves understanding key financial metrics such as Price to Sales, Enterprise Value, Exit multiples, and comparative company analysis (Comp analysis).
• Information Synthesis and Presentation: Learning to synthesize complex financial information into concise and easily understandable presentations. The program emphasizes effective communication skills and adapting presentations to different audiences.
• Data Mining (Optional Track): Interns can optionally rotate into a data mining role.
• Soft Skills Development: Focus on communication skills, grammar, and professional presentation.

Required Skills and Qualities:

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong grammar, and English vocabulary.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, open-mindedness, and a willingness to learn in a team setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel).
• Knowledge of financial markets is a plus, but not required.
