Job Description: Internship at WLFC

WLFC offers internships to supplement students’ education with real-world work experience in the aviation industry. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and possesses excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill tasks assigned by a “Captain” (supervisor).
• Learn industry-related skills.
• Prepare deliverables, reports, and presentations relevant to the department and industry.
• Provide general administrative support as needed.
• Shadow multiple positions and train in a variety of tasks.
• Collaborate with team members on brainstorming and ongoing projects.
• Potential departments include Accounting & Finance, Legal & Contracts, Information Technology, Marketing, Human Resources, Regional/Sales, Trading, Leasing, Technical Services, and Technical Records.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a Junior actively enrolled in an accredited college or university. (Having completed all sophomore credits – 60 or more semester hours or 90 quarter hours – by the internship start date and entering at least the junior year immediately following the internship.)
• Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
• Must meet local and state government internship requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, effective communication skills, and punctuality are essential.
