The Tone:
This is an internship at RÖDL USA, located across multiple US offices including Atlanta GA, Birmingham AL, Boston MA, Charlotte NC, Chicago IL, Cincinnati OH, Denver CO, Detroit MI, Greenville SC, Houston TX, and Manhattan NY. RÖDL USA is a professional services firm that provides accounting, auditing, and tax solutions primarily for foreign, family-owned midsized businesses in the U.S., particularly German-speaking and European entities. This role is important as it offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international accounting, auditing, and tax consulting within a truly global work environment.

• Location: In-person, multiple US offices, including Atlanta GA, Birmingham AL, Boston MA, Charlotte NC, Chicago IL, Cincinnati OH, Denver CO, Detroit MI, Greenville SC, Houston TX, and Manhattan NY
• Pay: $20–$32 hourly
• Team: Interdisciplinary team
• Mission: To provide practical experience in US and German auditing and tax consulting for international businesses.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Experience: Gain practical experience in US-American and German auditing and tax consulting practices.
• Training: Participate in various training sessions, including software applications and financial procedures.
• Collaboration: Contribute actively as a member of a high-performing and interdisciplinary team.
• Projects: Work on demanding tasks within an international business environment.
• Support: Assist with accounting, auditing, and tax-related projects for international clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student with at least three semesters of economics studies, focusing on international accounting, auditing, and/or taxes.
• Experience: Prior theoretical or practical experience in accounting or taxes.
• Skills: Fluent German and English language proficiency in both written and spoken communication, strong teamwork abilities, high performance commitment, self-initiative, strong quality awareness, good analytical skills, and independent working methods.
• Bonus: Prior internships abroad and additional qualifications are advantageous.
