The Tone:
This is an internship at RÖDL USA, located in Greenville, SC. RÖDL USA serves as the preferred accounting, auditing, tax, and business consulting firm for foreign-owned, primarily German-speaking and European, midsized businesses operating in the U.S. This role offers the opportunity to gain practical insights and hands-on experience in international auditing, accounting, and tax consulting within a truly global and intercultural environment. You will contribute to the firm’s success by supporting clients across various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, technology, and services.
The TL;DR

• Type: Temporary (6-month commitment)
• Location: In-person, Greenville, SC
• Pay: $20–$32 hourly
• Team: Interdisciplinary team, collaborating on accounting, auditing, and tax projects
• Mission: To support US subsidiaries of foreign-owned businesses by gaining practical experience in international accounting, auditing, and tax consulting.
• Tech Stack: ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Excel
What You’ll Actually Do
• Gain practical experience in both US-American and German auditing and tax consulting practices.
• Receive comprehensive training in various professional areas, including ProSystems Engagement and Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare and assist with tasks such as bank reconciliations, cash audits, and tax estimates.
• Collaborate effectively as a member of a high-performing and interdisciplinary team.
• Engage in challenging activities within a dynamic international business environment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level role; completed at least three semesters of economics studies with a focus on (international) accounting, auditing, and/or taxes.
• Experience: Possess initial theoretical and/or practical experience in accounting and/or taxes.
• Skills: Fluent German and English proficiency (written and spoken), strong analytical abilities, a high degree of initiative and quality awareness.
• Bonus: Previous internships abroad and other additional qualifications are advantageous.
