Job Description: Intern/Trainee in Corporate Tax Services

As an intern or trainee, you’ll join a team of problem solvers and contribute to:

Tax compliance engagements: Participate in specific phases of tax compliance projects.
Tax research: Analyze tax laws, rules, and regulations and apply them to specific situations.
Teamwork: Collaborate with team members, build relationships, and demonstrate initiative.
Proactive communication: Seek guidance and feedback, prioritize tasks, and exercise professional skepticism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis of tax laws, regulations, and client information.
• Communicate effectively with clients and firm management through written and verbal mediums.
• Demonstrate self-motivation and a commitment to personal and professional development.
• Embrace new technologies and experiment with digitization solutions.
• Analyze large datasets, build models, and utilize data visualization tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Demonstrated research and analysis skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to work
• Interest in a career in Tax

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment
• Experience with researching business and industry trends
• Exposure to client service in an internship capacity
• Working towards or having obtained a relevant professional certification, such as a CPA license.
