• Mission: This intern supports tax professionals by preparing diverse tax returns, conducting basic research, and utilizing tax technology, thereby contributing to client service and gaining foundational experience for a professional journey.
• Tech Stack: UltraTax, Microsoft Office Suite, various tax technology platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support tax professionals in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and related entities.
• Conduct basic tax research and assist with the analysis of relevant tax issues and matters.
• Gain exposure to international tax, Partnership, C-Corp, S-Corp, and trust tax matters.
• Utilize various tax technology platforms to accurately process and maintain client data.
• Participate in client engagements under supervision and communicate effectively with team members for documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting completed or in progress, with an intention to pursue CPA licensure.
• Experience: No specific years required.
• Skills: Strong oral and written communication, excellent analytical and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus: Prior experience in preparing tax returns for individuals or businesses. Interest or experience in tax research and tax technology platforms such as UltraTax. Proven ability to attract and develop profitable, sustainable client relationships.
