The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Management: Focus on projects related to cost segregation, fixed asset recovery periods, capitalization versus expense analysis, R&D tax credits, and domestic producer activities deduction.
• Client Support: Work directly with clients to identify and resolve issues as they emerge.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a current understanding of relevant code, regulation, and administrative pronouncements on a wide range of tax incentives.
• Relationship Development: Develop relationships with clients and staff, including involvement in networking and business development activities.
• Documentation Assurance: Assist clients to ensure proper documentation of credits and deductions in accordance with IRS regulations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting, or a Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax.
• Experience: No specific prior professional experience required. Must be on track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CPA license.
• Skills: Problem-solving, communication, analytical, and detail-oriented abilities.
• Bonus: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
