Intern Scientist, R&D Chemistry | Nova Biomedical

What You’ll Actually Do
• Experiment Execution: Assist with planning and executing laboratory experiments in support of chemical research and product or process development projects.
• Material Preparation: Prepare samples, reagents, and test materials in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Data Management & Analysis: Collect, record, and organize experimental data accurately, perform routine analytical testing, and conduct basic data analysis to support interpretation of results.
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare summaries, charts, and reports to communicate findings and project progress effectively.
• Laboratory Maintenance: Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition, while also assisting with ordering and managing inventory.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possesses or pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline as a student or recent post-graduate.
• Experience: Completed coursework in general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, or related laboratory sciences, along with basic knowledge of laboratory techniques, chemical handling, and safe work practices.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain accurate records, good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, coupled with effective written and verbal communication.
