The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Lundbeck, located in Krakow. Lundbeck is a pharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming the lives of people living with brain disorders, operating with a commitment to curiosity, accountability, and adaptability. The Global Business Services (GBS) in Krakow provides essential operational support, including Master Data, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Travel & Expense processes for over 20 global entities. This Master Data Intern role is crucial for delivering efficient and high-quality master data management services, directly contributing to the smooth functioning of global procurement and finance operations.

The TL;DR

• Team: Part of a 12-person team within the Procurement and Finance Operations department
• Mission: Delivering efficient and high-quality master data management services in alignment with applicable policies
• Tech Stack: ServiceNow, Outlook, Microsoft Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Master Data Management: Support the creation and updating of Vendor, Customer, Product, and Bank Master Data in accordance with defined processes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Respond to queries from a range of stakeholders via different channels, including ServiceNow, Outlook, and phone.
• Process Improvement: Support the implementation of any change and/or improvement initiatives within the team.
• Departmental Support: Provide various ad hoc support duties to assist with all areas of the Procurement & Finance Operations department.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Currently studying with a strong motivation to gain experience in Finance, particularly in Master Data.
• Experience: A strong motivation to gain practical experience in Finance, specifically within Master Data.
• Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and very good English proficiency (B2 level).
• Bonus: Strong engagement and focus on achieving goals, caring for details, and a proactive and creative approach to improving ways of working.
