What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage: Participate in all phases of audit and/or tax engagements, encompassing planning, testing, researching, and reporting activities.
• Execute: Contribute to various financial health assurance tasks, including audits, compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements preparation, and benefit plan administration.
• Manage: Handle diverse tax responsibilities covering corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes.
• Collaborate: Foster meaningful interactions with staff at all organizational levels and engage directly with an impressive repertoire of clients.
• Develop: Gain experience with a wealth of business opportunities throughout a professional services firm, crafting business solutions rather than just spreadsheets.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax, positioning them as an entry-level professional.
• Experience: On track to complete the necessary degree and supporting credits to be eligible for the CPA exam, with the ultimate goal of successfully obtaining a CPA license. This role also requires an understanding of the nuances inherent in Japanese business culture.
• Skills: Demonstrated academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, coupled with being a detail-oriented leader possessing strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities. Fluency in both written and verbal Japanese and English is essential.
